DETROIT, MI – The dog rescued from the icy Detroit River near the Gordie Howe International Bridge last month was listed for adoption Tuesday, according to the Michigan Humane Society.
The organization shared the adoption post for the dog, dubbed Gordie, online early Tuesday afternoon, March 10, adding that it was the next step in his journey after first taking some time to heal.
