One of Detroit’s oldest slider joints, Motz’s Burgers, is now serving up burgers downriver.
Announced last fall, Motz’s Burgers Southgate location is in a soft opening phase. It’s the third location for the longtime brand, originally founded more than 90 years ago.

On Saturday, March 14, Motz’s Burgers on Eureka Road in Southgate opened with a trial run for family and friends, though other customers walked in, with burgers and onions sizzling on the grill.
