Cooley Law School Innocence Project exonerates man wrongfully convicted of 2007 murder

JACKSON, Mich. (WILX) – A Detroit man convicted of murder nearly two decades ago has been found innocent after 17 years behind bars.

Dell Crawford was convicted of second-degree murder out of Wayne County in 2007.

He was found innocent and released from prison on Tuesday, March 24 after a collaborative effort between Cooley Law School’s Innocence Project and the Wayne County Conviction Integrity Unit.
