Masked Suspect Rips Man’s Jewelry Outside Detroit Gas Station, Police Say

Detroit police are looking for an armed suspect they say attacked a 42-year-old man and stole his jewelry just before 1 a.m. last Saturday, outside a gas station on the 14400 block of Grand River. According to investigators, the victim had just bought something inside the station and was walking back to his car when the suspect confronted him.

Officers from the Detroit Police Department’s 2nd Precinct said the man was assaulted outside the store, and the suspect then grabbed his jewelry before taking off. The suspect was last seen heading northbound on Strathmoor and was described as wearing an orange-and-red ski mask and all-black clothing, ClickOnDetroit reports.
