KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox County authorities seized several pounds of illegal drugs and arrested three men following a vehicle pursuit on Friday. Officials said the bust was tied to an operation targeting the Detroit-to-Knoxville drug pipeline.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said that just after midnight on March 27, the KCSO Narcotics Unit and Organized Retail Crime Unit detectives attempted to stop a Dodge Caravan during the operation, but the vehicle fled, prompting a short pursuit. However, KCSO said deputies were able to stop the vehicle and take three individuals into custody.
Investigators recovered about 6 pounds of methamphetamine, 5 pounds of marijuana and more than $5,000 in suspected drug proceeds, KCSO said…
