Detroiters arrested in Knoxville with 11 pounds of drugs

KNOXVILLE, Tenn – A drug bust in Tennessee resulted in the arrest of three Detroit men and the seizure of 11 pounds of drugs.

According to authorities, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop on a Dodge Caravan in Knoxville just after midnight, Friday, March 27, as part of an investigation targeting a potential Detroit-to-Knoxville drug pipeline.

The Dodge reportedly fled from the scene, resulting in a brief chase that ended with the arrest of three men from Detroit, the seizure of six pounds of methamphetamine, five pounds of marijuana and more than $5,000 in cash…
