TROY, Mich. – A Macomb County dentist is facing more than 100 charges following an alleged scheme involving dental crowns, according to the Michigan Attorney General’s Office.
27-year-old Faddi S. Salim, DDS, has been charged with the following:
- 1 count of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise, a 20-year felony
- 131 counts of Medicaid fraud, each a felony punishable by up to four years’ incarceration and/or a fine of up to $50,000
“Flagrant abuse of the Medicaid program diverts critical funds from patients in need,” said Attorney General Nessel. “My office remains committed to investigating and prosecuting those responsible for fraudulent schemes.”
