UPDATE: Peak winds of 100 mph reached during Saturday’s EF-1 tornado in Wayne County.
DETROIT – A line of severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall that impacted much of Southeast Michigan did spark a weak tornado on Saturday evening, the National Weather Service team in Detroit confirmed today.
