Taylor police launched a manhunt yesterday after a shooting on Pond Village Drive sent one person to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers were called just before 9 p.m. to a home off the stretch near Eureka and Inkster roads. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Person of interest identified
Investigators have named 25-year-old Joshua Malik Obie as a person of interest and warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous. Police said Obie is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and allegedly left the scene before officers arrived.
