In February 2024—more than two years ago—the shuttered Pasquale’s restaurant on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak was razed to make way for a Big Boy that will sell alcoholic beverages.
Since then, the vacant lot has remained empty, raising questions about whether Big Boy still intends to follow through on its plans.
