Storm rips roof off Metro Detroit plaza housing Subway

LINCOLN PARK, MI – Severe storms overnight brought a tornado warning to parts of southern metro Detroit and left damage in Lincoln Park, where part of a commercial building’s roof was ripped off.

The damage occurred near Dix Highway and Outer Drive at a plaza that houses a Subway, Family Dollar and other businesses.

A portion of the building’s top structure was torn away, leaving debris scattered around the site…
