TENNESSEE — A Detroit man is facing multiple charges after authorities say he led Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies on a vehicle chase and was later found in possession of a large amount of narcotics.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Marquis Gilbert was arrested Monday, April 20, following a pursuit that began as a traffic stop. Investigators said Gilbert initially pulled over but fled when detectives approached his vehicle and asked him to step out, prompting a chase that officials said put other drivers at risk.
