DETROIT – The day almost certainly did not go as planned for two 20-year-olds who found themselves adrift on a dock in Lake Huron.
On Monday, U.S. Coast Guard Air State Detroit launched an aircrew to rescue the men, officials said on Facebook. A USCG MH-65 Dolphin helicopter took to the skies and located the survivors. They then guided the crew of a Canadian Fast Response Cutter to the scene. The Canadians safely brought the men onto their vessel.
