FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Several cites in North Carolina are trying to reduce deadly car crashes by creating a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan. Those efforts are being conducted with federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham, Winston Salem and Fayetteville are among those cities.
In Fayetteville, data has been gathered from the last five years. That has revealed the roads that have the highest number of serious accidents. Those roads are Rosehill, Cliffdale, Murchison, Skibo and Raeford.
