A man trying to break up a fight was critically injured and later died after being shot, Durham Police said.
It happened around 2:15 p.m. on Monday near the Hoover Road Apartments on the 1100 block of South Hoover Road near Angier Avenue.
Officers said a juvenile and a woman were arguing when the man tried to intervene. The shooting suspect fled the scene.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died from his injuries, police said…
