RALEIGH, N.C. — An elementary school part of Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools will be closing its doors after this upcoming school year, but the school district is far from alone in making the decision to close a school or in some cases several schools.
Students have been filling the halls of Glenwood Elementary School since 1953. After nearly 75 years, the upcoming school year will be the last.
