Arrest made in deadly July 4 stabbing on Capital Boulevard, Raleigh police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is being charged with murder in connection with a stabbing that happened on the evening of July 4, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

Raleigh police said the investigation began July 4, just before 5 p.m. when officers responded to a call about a potential stabbing in the 4500 block of Capital Boulevard.

When police arrived, officers said they found 49-year-old Antwan Ward, who had life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries…
