CARRBORO, N.C. — It’s now been more than a year since Tropical Storm Chantal dumped immense rainfall across areas of the state, leading to detrimental flooding in areas, including the Carrboro Public Works Yard, which saw flooding like it never had before.
The Town of Carrboro is continuing its recovery efforts, including new funding, much of which consists of local money that became available in the new fiscal year.
