APEX, NC — Three men were killed early Saturday when an Infiniti sedan crashed on US-1 near Apex and rolled several times, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. The wreck happened just before 12:30 a.m. and left one other passenger with serious injuries.
What happened
Investigators said the driver lost control, ran off the side of the road and overturned. Four people were inside the car at the time of the crash.
Two of the men who died were thrown from the vehicle, officials said. The third died at the scene as well.
Survivor’s condition
A fourth person riding in the back seat lived through the crash and was taken to the hospital. Troopers said that passenger was in serious but stable condition.
