Large Tree Falls on Cary NC Home During Storms, Family Forced to Leave
Monday afternoon looked like any other summer day in Cary, North Carolina. Until it didn’t.
Fast-moving storms swept through Wake County and sent a massive tree crashing straight into a home on the 200 block of Shotte Court. The damage was immediate and total. The master bedroom was demolished. Part of the roof was completely exposed. And a family had nowhere to go.
What Happened and How Fast It Hit
The Town of Cary got the first call around 4:20 p.m. as a fierce storm line cut through the area.
