DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A homeless encampment at Durham’s Oakwood Park is gone after city workers provided the people living there with temporary shelter.
The city’s Community Safety Department told CBS 17 they successfully connected all 18 people with transportation and hotels that cost between $60 to $80 a night.
After the move last week, metal fencing now lines the property as crews work to restore the park…
