Durham drivers will need to navigate around the closure of a major north-south traffic corridor a little longer.
The closing of Duke Street between West Trinity and Monmouth avenues has been extended through Sept. 25 as crews continue utility upgrades for the $41 million South Ellerbe Restoration project. The delay is a few weeks past the initially announced end date.
