South Wake Home Sales Stay Active in July, Median Price Hits $530,000

Holly Springs, NC, Aug. 24, 2026 — Home sales remained active across South Wake County in July, with 251 homes sold in Holly Springs, Apex, and Fuquay-Varina at a combined median price of $530,000. Apex accounted for more than half of those sales and had the highest prices, while Fuquay-Varina recorded the second-highest sales volume and remained the most affordable of the three markets.

Apex recorded 148 sales, with an average price of about $776,000 and a median of $638,000. The month’s highest-priced sale was 1340 Weston Farm Way, a new-construction home that closed for $2.07 million on July 22.
