Two college students were shot near the N.C. Central University campus on Labor Day weekend, leaving both seriously injured, police said.
The shooting took place just before 11 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, near the intersection of Concord and Dupree streets, according to the Durham Police Department. A man and woman walking in the area were hit by gunfire from a passing vehicle, according to spokeswoman Alicia Banks.
