The North Carolina Education Lottery joined forces with The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and N.C. State University to introduce two scratch-off games on Tuesday, Sept. 29, according to a press release. This marks a first. Never before has the state lottery created games bearing university brands.
TAR HEELS and N.C. STATE each sell for $5. Both offer two top prizes worth $200,000. Combined prize money exceeds $20 million across the two games. Players can also enter a second-chance drawing to win VIP experiences with their teams.
“We are excited about the potential of these games knowing that North Carolinians are extremely passionate about the UNC and N.C. State rivalry,” said Randy Spielman, chief product officer of the N.C. Education Lottery, in the press release. “We can’t wait to see all the Tar Heel and Wolfpack faithful show off their school pride by trying their luck on these exciting new scratch-offs.”…
