DURHAM, N.C. – Durham County is telling CBS 17 about new plans to spend millions of dollars fighting the opioid epidemic. It’s been nearly three years since North Carolina and several other states won a $26 billion lawsuit against major pharmaceutical companies for their role in the opioid crisis.
