North Carolina Shows Who They Are On Saturday

North Carolina took down their rival, the Duke Blue Devils, 93-84 on Saturday night, and the Tar Heels have taken control of the ACC.

North Carolina has been one of the best teams all season. Still, they ran into a little bump in the road earlier this week when they fell to Georgia Tech, but that didn’t stop them from putting on a massive performance against the number seven team in the country on Saturday.

Carolina’s center, Armando Bacot, put on a show, recording a double-double and finishing with 25 points and ten boards. He was also helped out by guard RJ Davis, who went for 17 points, and his forward Harrison Ingram, who scored 21 points, brought down 13 rebounds and was 5/9 from three.

North Carolina looked like a legit Top Five team in the country against Duke, and they have fully taken control of the ACC.

The Tar Heels are 10-1 in conference, and the two teams behind them are Virginia at 8-3 and Duke at 7-3.

North Carolina has been on a roller-coaster ride over the past three seasons, from going to the National Championship Game in 2022 and blowing a huge second-half lead to Kansas to missing out on the tournament last season and now being one of the best teams in college hoops again this year.
