DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – One person is dead and another is seriously injured after two separate hit-and-runs happened in Durham this weekend. The first hit-and-run happened on Friday at 9:06 p.m. Police said a man was crossing N. Miami Blvd. near Raynor Street when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. Police said the vehicle then hit a pole before backing up and fleeing the scene.
