According to the Town of Chapel Hill, their mission includes conducting speed enforcement operations every Tuesday during peak drive times and increasing attention to pedestrian safety violations at crosswalks throughout the town. Last month, the department issued 168 speeding citations, showing a clear commitment to addressing speeding issues.
