Two large site plans approved by board

The Creedmoor Board of Commissioners approved large site plans for a proposed  five-unit commercial area and a Fast Pace Urgent Care facility at the Nov. 4 regular meeting.

The proposed commercial area is located at 838 North Main St. at the corner point at Moss Road. According to Chad Abbott, the property design plans show five units that can accommodate offices or small businesses.

The board approved the site plan and awarded 1,200 non-residential utility (water and sewer) allocation.

The site has not received its final N.C. Department of Transportation driveway permit, according to Mike Frangos, director of community development.

Commissioners approve the large site plan that awards 250 gallons of non-residential utility allocation for a Fast Pace Urgent Care facility at 2147 N.C. Highway 56 near Food Lion. Developers hope to begin the project in December.

The board approved a motion to adopt Ordinance 2024 – O – 10 annexing 0.122 acres known as the Mount Energy Booster Pump Station into the corporate limit after a public hearing was conducted.
