Guy Bruce, of New Jersey was sentenced to an active sentence of over nine years on Feb 17. in N.C. Dept. of Adult corrections and received a statutory fine of $750,000 for trafficking fentanyl, according to Faris C. Dixon Jr., Pitt County District Attorney.
Greenville Police officers were patrolling the parking lot of the Knights Inn motel on May 27, 2023 around 1:00 a.m. and located an SUV with two people inside that appeared to be passed out. Officers went to check on the individuals, officers noticed a 2022 Jeep that was running with the window down with no one inside the vehicle, per a release.
During the investigation the two people in the SUV, officers saw a female come from a room and turn the Jeep off and lock it up.
