After a joint investigation by NC Alcohol Law Enforcement and Butner Public Safety, Abdulghani Abdo Mohamed Alashmaly, owner of Butner Tobacco and Vape on Central Avenue in Butner, was charged with five felonies and other criminal charges March 20.
According to a press release from ALE, information from Butner Public Safety and Granville County Public Schools Safety Director Keith King led to the investigation that found students from Butner-Stem Middle School had purchased THC vapes and THC vape cartridges from Butner Tobacco and Vape.
