‘Expect the unexpected’ | Historic Carolina Theatre reopens in Uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A piece of Charlotte history has come back to life as the Carolina Theatre reopens its doors after an-almost five decade closure.

The historic venue, which first opened on Tryon Street in 1927, is ready to welcome the public once again with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Monday.
