Driver faces 2nd-degree murder charge in Durham crash while fleeing police, warrants say

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A Durham man is now charged in a crash last week that killed a man while the suspect was fleeing from police, according to the Durham Police Department.

Shyrone Evans, 20, is charged with felony second-degree murder in the death of Jermaine Clement, 53, of Durham, who died in the crash on March 19, police said.
