In a patch of land on Bingham Drive, currently occupied by scrubby grass and next to a couple of abandoned buildings, is a large, hopeful sign that seems oblivious to its immediate surroundings.
“COMING SOON” the sign announces in crimson letters, along with an image of a Dairy Queen Grill & Chill connected to an Atkinson’s convenience store.
