Task Force 8 Heroes from Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill Return Home After Heroic Flood Relief Efforts in Kentucky

Task Force 8, composed of 22 firefighters from Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, has returned from a week-long deployment where they played a key role in assisting with flood relief efforts in Kentucky. These firefighters are members of the Raleigh Professional Fire Fighters Association, which proudly announced their safe return on social media last night. According to a post on the association’s Facebook page, the team took part in search and rescue operations, saving numerous residents and animals affected by the flooding.
