At this point, it’s getting hard to consider 4-star tight end Carson Sneed ‘committed’ to the Tennessee football team . The Nashville product has been a Vols pledge since early August, but since then, teams have continued to recruit him quite heavily.
Sneed has also been taking a ton of visits, which has been a bit eye-opening. This included a recent trip to North Carolina to meet with Bill Belichick and his staff. Sneed appeared to have a great time and while he’s still Tennessee-bound, he also told On3’s Steve Wiltfong that he’s ‘open to anything’ when it comes to his recruitment. Yeah, this is not a good sign at all:

4-star Tennessee commit Carson Sneed doesn’t seem too firm with his decision
This is the new age of recruiting. While having Sneed on board is nice, there’s still a long way to go until the Early Signing Period in December. Teams like North Carolina aren’t going to stop pushing for Sneed until he puts the pen to paper…
