It’s official. Robert D. Fountain Jr. has announced he will be seeking a second term as sheriff of Granville County.
In a pre-recorded video received via text message June 1, Fountain said he would be running for sheriff again.
Fountain said, “Over the last two years we have accomplished a lot. We have repaired the public’s trust, we have made decisions that have made this agency stronger, we have implemented training and platforms, equipment to make sure our deputies are safe.”
