South Sumter High School’s standout offensive lineman Xavier Massey has announced his commitment to North Carolina Central University, continuing a proud tradition of Raiders moving on to the Division I level. The NCCU Eagles are an FCS school playing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound senior, who boasts a 3.3 GPA, is one of the top offensive linemen in Sumter County heading into the 2025 season. Known for his relentless work ethic and sharp footwork, Xavier has become a cornerstone of South Sumter’s offensive line, consistently creating gaps for the Raiders’ talented backfield.
“Xavier brings great leadership, work ethic and charecter to our program. He loves moving people against their will. We are happy he is on our side,” says South Sumter head coach Ty Lawrence
