Raleigh gang member sentenced to 24 years on drug trafficking charge

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A Raleigh gang member was sentenced to 24 years in prison on a drug trafficking charge, federal prosecutors said Friday.

Nigel Gray, 45, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of fentanyl and five kilograms or more of cocaine on June 28, 2024. His prison sentence will be followed by five years of supervised release, according to the Office of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
