2 teens, father found dead in North Carolina house fire were shot; homicide being investigation

GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) — The Wake County Sheriff’s Office has announced that deputies are now investigating the house fire on Rand Road as a homicide and arson.

According to a news release, first responders actually saw that the three people found dead in the house had gunshot wounds. Deputies said investigators are looking into the circumstances around this incident.

Deputies said the cause of the fire is also under investigation, with the suspicion that the fire was set intentionally. They also said they believe the incident was isolated and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
