Two Teens Arrested After Shots Fired at Sheetz on New Bern Ave in Raleigh

RALEIGH, NC – Two young men have been arrested in connection to a broad daylight shooting outside a Sheetz gas station on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh earlier this week.

The incident, which took place on Wednesday, June 25, at 2:02 PM, involved gunfire striking an occupied vehicle in the parking lot at 5200 New Bern Ave. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the suspects fled the scene before police arrived.

Arrested and Charged:

Raleigh police have since identified and arrested two suspects following their investigation.

  • Discharge of a firearm into an occupied vehicle
  • Carrying a concealed weapon
  • Possession of a weapon of mass destruction
  • Possession of a stolen firearm
