Man wanted in Fourth of July party shooting in Hillsborough, police say

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man is wanted in connection with a shooting at a Fourth of July party last week, police said.

According to the Hillsborough Police Department, officers responded on July 5 just before 1 a.m. to a report of a person with a gunshot wound in the 500 block of Riddle Avenue.

Police said they found a party of about 25 people at the scene. A man was located inside the home with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury…
