A woman caused a nightmare for one gas station in particular during a wreck. She hit a pump with her car, and over 500 gallons of fuel spewed out for hours. It was flowing from the pavement, over the street, and into storm drains.

North Carolina police officers responded to reports of an accident at a gas station around 5:30 am. When they arrived, they saw gas spraying out of a pump, contaminating the area. First responders, firefighters, and hazmat crews were also called.
Raleigh police shared that a woman crashed her car into a gas pump at the Fiddle Stix Exxon at the 4400 block of Capital Boulevard. The driver of the car fled the scene, and fuel was spraying from the pump for hours.
