Creedmoor resident Georgana Kicinski asked the Granville County Board of Commissioners at the Aug. 4 meeting to begin an investigation of the sheriff’s office pertaining to the events that transpired in the attempt to arrest an individual with outstanding warrants at the courthouse.
Granville County Deputies attempted to detain Brandon Clayton on July 23. During the incident a deputy was allegedly assaulted and two other deputies began pursuing Clayton.
