NC fire chief honored as firefighter of the year

RALEIGH, N.C. (WSPA) — A firefighter chief was recently honored at the South Atlantic FIRE RESCUE Expo (SAFRE) in Raleigh.

Chief Steve Freeman of the Bat Cave Fire and Rescue Department was recognized as the Firefighter of the Year for North Carolina.
