Teen sent to hospital after shooting in Durham on Wadesboro Street, police say

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — An early Friday morning shooting in Durham sent a teenager to the hospital, police said.

According to the Durham Police Department, the incident happened around 1 a.m. in the 900 block of Wadesboro Street.

Shortly after officers responded to a call about a disturbance with a weapon in the area, police said a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound was brought to the hospital by another individual. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening…
