18-year-old woman charged in shooting that killed man near Durham park, warrant shows

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — An arrest was made Tuesday in a deadly shooting near a Durham park earlier this year, court records show.

According to the Durham Police Department, the shooting happened on May 30 around midnight in the 1600 block of Rowemont Drive near the entrance of Whippoorwill Park. Officers found three people, a man and two women, inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
