A man arrested in connection with a chase that led to an hours-long standoff in Raleigh is facing more charges related to a separate case.
Raleigh Police said Wednesday afternoon that officers attempted to detain Elmer Bautista Candela in connection with an earlier assault on an officer in the 400 block of Solar Drive.
