BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A man wanted in connection to a murder that happened in Tar Heel in July has been caught, according to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
In a press release, BCSO stated that detectives identified 19-year-old Elijah Jamal Dixon of Clinton as a suspect in the murder of 20-year-old Samir Tileek Register, who was shot and died on the side of a road during a local trail riding event in Tar Heel.
Warrants were issued for Dixon’s arrest, and on Aug. 27, Dixon was arrested during a traffic stop by the Raleigh Police Department…
